PUPPIES !
You can see photos and a webshow of our 2008 litter on Brenna's page.  Since she
did not come into heat at the right time, we will not be breeding in 2009.

The Vizsla Club of America condemns the breeding of dogs who show any of the
following: hip dysplasia, epilepsy, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), entropion, Von
Willebrand's Disease, and cranial muscular atrophy.  We test for these diseases (and
more!), and follow these ethical guidelines.
We enjoy talking about Minis and Vizslas, so feel free to contact
us anytime at:

Here I am at my first match (and in dire need of some
handling lessons), and in College.
Here you can see our home in Winter, Spring and
Fall.  We are certainly lucky to live in such a scenic
area of Northern California.
About Us
When I was 5 years old, I was breeding Dutch Rabbits.  I traded a couple of the young
bunnies for some English riding lessons, and ....viola!  Horses were in my life to stay.  At
nine years old, my parents bought me a puppy from a reputable Keeshond breeder, and
she encouraged me to attend a Match, and then a dog show.  I was hooked!  My first litter
of Keeshonden was bred when I was 12 years old, and I was fascinated by the cute results
of all the planning, ethics, genetics, art and science included in the dog world.

After attaining a B.A. in Horsemanship (Equine Studies), I married a wonderful man who
enjoys sharing all of "my" animals.  Of course he wanted a hunting dog, and we moved to a
very hot climate, so we researched and landed on the Vizsla.  We are both captivated by
their desire to please, their affection, and the fact that they are like no other dog on Earth.

Now we live with the Miniature Horses (I switched to Minis after having full-size horses
because of a back injury which made riding too painful), and the Vizslas, and the chickens
and turkeys on our happy little farm in Red Bluff.
